This California Privacy Notice supplements the Privacy Policy of Car Accident Helpline and applies solely to California residents. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the CCPA/CPRA.

We use personal information for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including matching you with participating attorneys, contacting you about your free consultation, operating and improving the Site, marketing measurement, and legal compliance.

We may disclose each of the categories of personal information listed above to: participating attorneys and advocates in our network; service providers and contractors who help us run the Site and our marketing; advertising partners; and authorities or others when required by law.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of cookies, pixels, and similar advertising technologies on the Site may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under the CPRA. The categories of personal information that may be "sold" or "shared" include: Identifiers, Internet/network activity, Geolocation, and Inferences. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age.

To exercise any of the rights listed above, email privacy@caraccidenthelpline.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request" and include your full name, the email and phone number you submitted (if any), and a description of the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days, with one 45-day extension if reasonably necessary).

We will need to verify your identity before processing your request. Verification may require us to ask for additional information to match against information we already hold.

We will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level or quality of services because you exercised any of your California privacy rights.

California Civil Code § 1798.83 ("Shine the Light") permits California residents to request information about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
